Taos Pueblo is one of the eight northern pueblos of New Mexico. Taos Pueblo is the oldest continuously inhabited community in the USA. Built between 1000 and 1450, the multi-story buildings of Taos Pueblo are made of adobe, a natural material consisting of earth, water and straw, then shaped into brick and sun dried. UNESCO WHS in 1992
